Professional History:
This is my 16th year teaching. I spent the first 6 years teaching physics at Hastings High School. In 2000, I switched to teaching Physics and Computer Science at Kinkaid for 5 years. I then dropped Physics to become the Upper School Academic Coordinator - this is my 5th year in this position. I still teach computer programming, including LEGO robotics, Python, Web Design, Flash, Alice and Java (AP). I am considering an iPhone programming class for January.
I enjoy volleyball, video games, and glassworking - stained glass and fused glass. I also occasionally tinker in electronics, photography and woodworking.
Posting my del.icio.us page has inspired me to clean up some of the tags on my page - it's still a mess, but at least when you pick "pedagogy" it isn't 90% computer programming, and most of the tags are spelled correctly!
